ABOUT PROJECT
1. Concept of FINALE?
Life is like a dream, dream is loading…
“FINALE?” is a film festival presented by 12th New Era University College Department of Drama and Visuals students. FINALE means the last part of an art piece, and “?” represent the unknown. “FINALE?” bears the fear of unknowing the future, even though the graduates have gone through stages of screenwriting, shooting, editing, screening and grow continuously throughout the cycle of learning in the past 2.5 years, but when FINALE encounters“?”, what kind of adventure waiting for them? Will this graduation ended their creativity? Will they stay true in life? No matter what, with trust, they will definitely continue their passion in filming and keep growing.
2. Production Unit
New Era University College established the Diploma in Drama and Visuals course programme in 2004. This is a 2.5-years programme. The course includes all aspects of performing arts on and off the stage as well as the creative field of film and digital video production.
The learning process is divided into two stages. In the first stage, students are trained in the basic aesthetics of both theatre and visual creativity including film production. In the second stage, students choose a major either in theatre or visuals (film and digital video) according to their respective interest. In the whole learning process towards professionalism, students choosing different majors have the opportunity to exhibit their talents and develop their potentials under the supervision of well-trained and awardwinning lecturers. Besides attending courses in the college, students are also required to participate in professional productions as well as producing a graduation public presentation. After completing the courses, students can continue their studies for a bachelor’s degree with sister colleges or universities of New Era College.
Our aim is to nurture talents in theatre and film production. We utilise and incorporate resources from the community. It is hoped that through their participation and support, we can elevate the quality of life in the community.

5. Promote Plan
Posters and leaflets will be posted at relevant university / college / secondary school / literary and artistic location.
We will be filming the trailer of film festival, behind the scene of short film, trailer of short film and graduation photo to attract more viewers to come to the exhibition.
We will also broadcast through the Internet, newspapers, radio media and mobile message to propaganda our exhibition.

In this modern society, there is a lot of people still can't accept autistic people, even that their parents also hard to face their autistic children. Autistic people can't live like a normal person, and they also get some different treat by public. However, autistic people have their own lifestyle and their communication way. Some of them are not able to take care themselves in their daily life, they need more caring than normal people. Teaching them need a lot of time and more patient, because they need more time to learn a new things compare to others. They have their own style, they are the most special.

Why Does FINALE? Film Festival Need Your Support?

Our film festival tours around communities, secondary schools, colleges and universities in West Malaysia to share our stories with audience of different ages, educational and cultural background.

Film festival allow graduate students to produce their own short films and held screening to showcase their learning outcome to the public.

Malaysia’s film and television industry has risen in recent years. As New Era University College is a non-profit tertiary educational institution, Department of Drama and Visuals aims to cultivate more students with professional film production skills, as well as to encourage more people to involve in the film industry, to a part of the contribution to local film industry. 一、影展概念
Life is like a dream, dream is loading…
这一届影展的主题是“FINALE？”，影展团队来自新纪元大学学院第十二届戏剧与影像系的学生。FINALE是乐章里的终曲、演出里的终章，意味着结局。『？』则代表未知，当FINALE遇上『？』，它还是结局吗？就像美剧的结局标上了『FINALE』，却不一定代表结束，它偶尔会推出衍生剧，让故事继续发展。
“FINALE？”承载着即将毕业的我们对未知的不安，因为在戏剧与影像系的两年半来，我们都在不停地创作、拍摄、剪接、播映、再投入下一个创作，我们都在这看似永劫回归的过程中成长。
如今我们即将离开校园，开始为生活奔波。毕业是结束还是新的开始？我们的创作是否还能莫忘初衷？带着对未知的憧憬与不安，我们将继续迈入人生的下一站，在下一个循环中成长。
宗旨
借由《FINALE?》影展让更多人了解影像艺术的魅力，打破一般人认为电影只用于娱乐的刻板印象，同时也包含了我们对社会的反思。
形式
新纪元大学学院戏剧与影像系历届毕业生曾举办不少巡回影展，跨越各校与州属，进行毕业作品成果展和工作坊等。这次《FINALE?》团队将带着5部短片环绕西马半岛，验收毕业生两年半的学习成果。
二、制作单位
新纪元大学学院于2004年开设戏剧与影像系专业文凭课程。本课程学制为两年半，以实践为主、理论为辅，涵盖剧场演出所有台前幕后的艺术创作及影视多媒体创作。学习分为两个阶段：第一阶段，学生必须同时学习戏剧与影像两方面的基础美学知识；第二阶段则分设戏剧表演及影像创作两个组别。学生可以按着各自兴趣的领域做更深入的学习及研究。
在专业学习的过程中，不同组别的学生有机会共同创作，相互给予支持，一起学习，共同成长。学生除了接受专业课程的培训，也必须到校外参与业界实习，在学习的最后阶段，学生必须制作一个对外公开的剧场演出或影片播放会，作为毕业汇报。毕业后，有意深造的毕业生可以衔接国外本院姐妹校的学士课程。
戏剧与影像系成立至今，已经迈入第十四个年头。秉持着培育优秀的剧场和影视人才的宗旨，致力于结合社区的艺术资源，藉由影像艺术和剧场表演，丰富社会各阶层的生活品质。

Why Does FINALE? Film Festival Need Your Support?
Promote Malaysian short films
Our film festival tours around communities, secondary schools, colleges and universities in West Malaysia to share our stories with audience of different ages, educational and cultural background.
Enhance artistic appreciation of students
Film festival allow graduate students to produce their own short films and held screening to showcase their learning outcome to the public.
Local film arts needs your support
Malaysia’s film and television industry has risen in recent years. As New Era University College is a non-profit tertiary educational institution, Department of Drama and Visuals aims to cultivate more students with professional film production skills, as well as to encourage more people to involve in the film industry, to a part of the contribution to local film industry. Even with determination and dedication, we still need active support and contribution from the public in order to progress.

一、影展概念
Life is like a dream, dream is loading…
这一届影展的主题是“FINALE？”，影展团队来自新纪元大学学院第十二届戏剧与影像系的学生。FINALE是乐章里的终曲、演出里的终章，意味着结局。『？』则代表未知，当FINALE遇上『？』，它还是结局吗？就像美剧的结局标上了『FINALE』，却不一定代表结束，它偶尔会推出衍生剧，让故事继续发展。
“FINALE？”承载着即将毕业的我们对未知的不安，因为在戏剧与影像系的两年半来，我们都在不停地创作、拍摄、剪接、播映、再投入下一个创作，我们都在这看似永劫回归的过程中成长。
如今我们即将离开校园，开始为生活奔波。毕业是结束还是新的开始？我们的创作是否还能莫忘初衷？带着对未知的憧憬与不安，我们将继续迈入人生的下一站，在下一个循环中成长。
宗旨
借由《FINALE?》影展让更多人了解影像艺术的魅力，打破一般人认为电影只用于娱乐的刻板印象，同时也包含了我们对社会的反思。
形式
新纪元大学学院戏剧与影像系历届毕业生曾举办不少巡回影展，跨越各校与州属，进行毕业作品成果展和工作坊等。这次《FINALE?》团队将带着5部短片环绕西马半岛，验收毕业生两年半的学习成果。
二、制作单位
新纪元大学学院于2004年开设戏剧与影像系专业文凭课程。本课程学制为两年半，以实践为主、理论为辅，涵盖剧场演出所有台前幕后的艺术创作及影视多媒体创作。学习分为两个阶段：第一阶段，学生必须同时学习戏剧与影像两方面的基础美学知识；第二阶段则分设戏剧表演及影像创作两个组别。学生可以按着各自兴趣的领域做更深入的学习及研究。
在专业学习的过程中，不同组别的学生有机会共同创作，相互给予支持，一起学习，共同成长。学生除了接受专业课程的培训，也必须到校外参与业界实习，在学习的最后阶段，学生必须制作一个对外公开的剧场演出或影片播放会，作为毕业汇报。毕业后，有意深造的毕业生可以衔接国外本院姐妹校的学士课程。
戏剧与影像系成立至今，已经迈入第十四个年头。秉持着培育优秀的剧场和影视人才的宗旨，致力于结合社区的艺术资源，藉由影像艺术和剧场表演，丰富社会各阶层的生活品质。

现今的社会，很多人都无法接受自闭症的人，甚至有些父母都无法接受自己的孩子是自闭儿。自闭儿不能像正常人那样生活，甚至还会被异样的眼光看待。他们拥有自己的沟通方式与作息，在生活中他们往往都不能自理，需要别人的帮忙与照顾。教导他们都必须有耐心和爱心，因为他们需花比别人多的时间学习。他们拥有自己的生活方式，他们是特别的。

About Me
林依汶在1997年出生于马来西亚吉打州，目前在马来西亚的新纪元学院大学修读戏剧与影像系3年级。 她曾到泰国曼谷的由Tom Waller创办的国际电影制作公司De WarrennePictures Co. Ltd当实习生，期间在TOM WALLER指导的新作品《SIAM》前导预告片里头担任Production Coordinator，并且也是公司助理。 主修影像组的她在幕前以及幕后都很活跃，参加过不少剧组拍摄，舞台表演，以及学校以外的电视剧或广告拍摄。 求学期间也制作了不少学生短片。 如： 2015年的《看家》 2015年入围全国魔豆公开组10强的《来不及好好说再见》 2016年的《羽羽》 2016年的《No Way》 2016年的《加影我爱你.流失》 2017年入围Sea Wave Short Film Festival "Next To Wave Competition"的《黄梨的滋味》 2016年的《Freelancer》 2017年的《Memory of Toad》
